It's Good To Be The King

OK, being self-centered is always wrong, except when God does it, then it's called being God-centered. Because God is the biggest, baddest, and Mr. Head Honcho, then not only is it right to be God-centered, but criminal if God was not God-centered. For some reason, this reminds me of Mel Brooks saying, "It's good to be the king."

yep.

I enjoyed a book that you may
have heard of by RC Sproul on
that very topic.

"Holiness of God".

I have not read that book yet. I actually have it in my library, though. I guess the point I was trying to make is that we discourage self-centered thinking among ourselves but Reformed theologians teach that God seeks his own glory above everything else. Of course, they call this being God-centered, but that's just a fancy name for being self-centered while also being God at the same time.
